Front Page
After reading ”Leningen Versus the Ants” and analyzing Mr. Leningen’s motto and reading and studying Anthem by Ayn Rand, students created and published their motto to the front page of their student created wiki. In association with their motto, students created a visual literacy connection in Animoto and wrote a ”My Personal Philosophy” paper.
Pages
Students created a ”My Personal Statement” page and write responses to the major works read in class. In this response, students are required to identify and write about a theme from the works, make a personal connection to themselves or to a world event, and include visual literacy for each entry.
Poetry
Students created a poetry page and are currently writing and publishing their poems.
